In a fight between Sonic the Hedgehog and Godzilla, Sonic will definitely win. This statement sounds naïve, perhaps controversial, given the power and energy that Godzilla wields. He is so powerful that at one point he even destroyed hell itself, destroyed the entire planet, and even survived the black hole. Such power and agility are unmatched, not by the likes of Sonic. However, war is more about strategy than strength. Even the mighty of the land has fallen in the hands of insignificant adversaries when the latter applied the art of war tactics. In ancient legends, David of the Bible killed Goliath, not because of might but due to strategic positioning on the battlefield. Therefore, this is how Sonic the Hedgehog will emerge as the undisputed winner in a fight against Godzilla.
First, Sonic is invincible and so fast that he overtakes linear time. Therefore, using his speed skills, Sonic will apply guerrilla-like tactics to hit Godzilla. Sonic thrives in “chaos energy” and he will definitely tire Godzilla with his unmatched speed. Remember, if Godzilla does not hit Sonic, the latter controls the battle and dictates its terms – hitting at his convenience and where it hurts the most. Sonic has the capacity to outpace lasers and any form of precision attack techniques that Godzilla might employ in this battle of titans. It is true that Godzilla has the potential to launch an attack covering a large area using his large blast techniques. However, even such a strategy would not hit Sonic because he wields unmatched speed.
The stand that Sonic would annihilate Godzilla is not based on anecdotes or sentimentalism. It is hinged on proof of what Sonic has done with enemies in the class of Godzilla. For instance, in his face-off with Perfect Chaos, the Water God with the power to decimate the earth, Sonic handled this adversary twice – and in the seconroundds, he did not even transform. In the first encounter, Sonic used his signature invincible super form to topple Perfect Chaos. In the second incident, Sonic defeated the Water God without any form of transformation. In another duel, Sonic encountered Biolizzard, who is clearly more powerful than Perfect Chaos. In this incident, Sonic again mastered his invincibility to defeat Blizzard.
The trail of Sonic’s successes when facing enemies in the caliber of Godzilla is long and impressive. For instance, Iblis, after his rebirth, heme out stronger than ever before (stronger than Biolizzard and Perfect Chaos combined) and threatened to destroy the earth, but Sonic was up to this new challenge and he emerged the winner. In the encounter with Dark-Gaia, a god that destroys the planet ever so often, Sonic was awakened prematurely, but he mastered the skills, speed, and energy to successfully counter this threat.
The point is, compared to the likes of Dark-Gaia, Iblis, and Blizzard, some of which are larger than the planet, Godzilla belongs to a lower class in the hierarchy of Kaiju-like beings. Therefore, Godzilla would be literally “eaten for breakfast” by these higher-ranking beings. However, Sonic has managed to topple each and every one of them – in some instances, without even transforming. As such, Sonic would have an easy time defeating Godzilla even if awaked without having prepared fully. In a battle between Sonic the Hedgehog, Godzilla stands no chance of victory – the fight would be over before he (Godzilla) could master all his power.
