Humans are becoming more conscious about climate change and the dire consequence it is causing to the Earth. Peoples’ well-being and ecosystem are highly influenced by the human-mediated climate both directly and indirectly (Pecl et al., 2017). Exponential population growth requires people to take various measures to solve the problem of energy emission and decrease its negative impact. Among the simple and obvious solutions such as daylight saving and clean energy, there are also underlying problems which should be addressed and tackled.
Cities, future and evolving, determine the further development of clean energy usage. Transport vehicles have a huge impact on climate change with carbon pollution. Density in communities allows people to avoid driving and reduce emissions significantly. Creating and funding for useful tools and products is another way to eliminate useless stockpiles (Steffen, 2011). The greenery decorations to create a seemingly eco-friendly environment is not as effective in improving the ecosystem as reducing water usage and recycling. The future of new generations and the Earth depend on cities, creating more possibilities and minimizing avoidable emissions.
The rapidly developing world needs to stop for a moment to realize the serious problems of the present which may affect the future negatively. Climate change is a challenge which is growing behind the scenes but will bear irrevocable consequences for all living beings. Besides the common measures, there are new unique ways of saving the planet. Cities have an immense influence on the climate, based on the behaviors and accommodations they manifest. Energy and emission savings can be increased in many ways, by creating dense communities, learning to reuse water, or recycling products. Each person should contribute to a better future and possibilities by changing the conventional mentality to prevent global warming.
